AllWriteNow is proud to represent VarunaTM Fountain Pens from India!  These pens are simply the finest quality Indian ebonite fountain pens that we have found and we are committed to bringing them to our customers.  AllWriteNow is the exclusive North American importer and distributor of VarunaTM Fountain Pens. For the convenience of our EUROPEAN customers, VarunaTM Pens are now in-stock and available for delivery from Cathedral Pens.  In addition, VarunaTM Pens will now be represented at select European Fountain Pen Shows.
VarunaTM Pens are not mass produced. They are made one pen at a time by hand. The fit and finish of these pens could only be achieved by master craftsmen.

NEW BAKULTM EBONITE FINISHES

Available on ALL Colors and Styles
In response to customer feedback, we have decided to rename our "raw" pen finish. The word "raw" can be read to imply that a final polishing step is left out. On the contrary: the distinctive finish of these pens requires an extra step. It is created completely by hand. The finish has been described as resembling the grain of wood and/or tree bark, and so we have decided to adopt the name "Bakul," in honor of an Indian tree species by that name.

Because the BAKULTM finish is created completely by hand, one pen at a time, we are able to adjust the texture to suit individual preferences. The standard texture has the warm feel of antique, heavily grained wood, and it is the overwhelming favorite among our customers. But we can also, on request, create a smooth matte finish (like the bark of a young Bakul tree) or a highly textural, deeply grained finish (like the bark of a mature Bakul tree).

The VarunaTM Clear Acrylic is available as a Flat Top (RAJAN Clear Acrylic) or a Domed Cap (Vishal Clear Acrylic). Dimensions are the same as the RAJAN or VISHAL, respectively.
Available finishes: Black Cap can be either BAKULTM or Mirror Finish. Barrel is clear.
                    Colors: Clear body and Solid Black cap.

These pens utilize a finned ebonite feed, thus allowing more writing between dips.
